ADHD & Focus
Attention Span & Focus
Difficulty sustaining attention on tasks, conversations, or reading. Mind wanders constantly even when trying to concentrate.
Hyperactivity
Persistent restlessness, inability to sit still, feeling constantly “on,” fidgeting, and an internal sense of urgency that won’t let up.
ADD / ADHD
Chronic patterns of inattention, disorganization, and difficulty with executive function that interfere with work, relationships, and daily life.
Impulsivity
Acting before thinking, interrupting conversations, making decisions too quickly, difficulty waiting — without the ability to pause and reflect.
Binge Eating
Episodes of consuming large amounts of food with a sense of loss of control, often followed by guilt — frequently linked to ADHD impulsivity or emotional dysregulation.
Sleep
Delayed Sleep Onset
Lying awake for hours before sleep comes. Racing thoughts, physical restlessness, or a body clock that feels out of sync with the rest of the world.
Interrupted Sleep
Waking multiple times throughout the night — light sleeping, frequent arousals, or waking feeling unrested despite spending enough hours in bed.
Early Awakening
Waking hours before your alarm and being unable to fall back asleep — a classic symptom of depression that leaves you exhausted all day.
Nightmares
Frequent disturbing dreams that wake you up, interfere with sleep, or cause significant distress — linked to trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, or medication.
Poor Sleep Quality
Sleeping enough hours but still feeling exhausted. Non-restorative sleep, excessive dreaming, or waking feeling worse than when you went to bed.
Irritability
Feeling constantly on edge, short-tempered, or easily annoyed — a core symptom of depression, ADHD, and mood disorders that is chronically overlooked.
Mood & Emotions
Mood Swings
Rapid or unpredictable shifts in mood — from high to low, or calm to agitated — that feel out of proportion or completely out of your control.
Irritability
Feeling constantly on edge, short-tempered, or easily annoyed — a core symptom of depression, ADHD, and mood disorders that is chronically overlooked.
Compulsions
Repetitive behaviors or mental acts done to reduce anxiety — checking, counting, cleaning, reassurance-seeking. Provides only temporary relief.
Depression
A pervasive low mood that won’t lift. Loss of pleasure in things you used to enjoy, feeling hopeless, emotionally numb, or like nothing matters.
Anxiety & Thoughts
Anxiety
Excessive, hard-to-control worry about everyday situations. Physical tension, racing heart, and dread that interferes significantly with daily life.
OCD
Obsessive-compulsive disorder — a cycle of intrusive thoughts and compulsive responses that consumes time and causes significant distress.
Obsessive Thoughts
Unwanted, intrusive thoughts that repeat relentlessly and won’t go away. Often distressing and contrary to your values or desires.
Energy & Motivation
Low Motivation
Knowing what you should do but being completely unable to start or follow through. Not laziness — this is a recognized symptom of depression, ADHD, and more.
Low Energy
Persistent physical and mental exhaustion that rest doesn’t fix. Feeling heavy, slow, or running on empty regardless of how much sleep you get.
Daytime Tiredness
Struggling to stay awake or alert during the day — even after a full night’s sleep. Often linked to underlying psychiatric conditions, not just poor sleep habits
