The Process

From sign-up to session in 4 simple steps

No complex referrals, no long wait lists. Getting started is as simple as booking a flight.

1. Book Online

Choose a time that works for you — evenings and weekends available. Fill in a brief intake form so we can prepare for your visit.

2. Get Your Link

You'll receive a secure video link via email and text. No app downloads. Works on any device — phone, tablet, or computer.

3. Meet Your Provider

Join your session from anywhere private. Your psychiatric evaluation or follow-up appointment happens just as it would in person — fully, carefully, with total attention.

4. Receive Your Plan

Prescriptions sent electronically to your pharmacy. Follow-up appointments scheduled. Your care plan is documented and shared securely with you.

Why Choose Telehealth

The smarter way to access psychiatry

Working with children and adolescents requires a completely different approach — slower, more collaborative, and always involving the whole family.
  • See us from home

No commute. No waiting room. No juggling childcare or taking time off work. Your couch is your waiting room.

  • Complete privacy

No one sees you walk into a psychiatry office. Discuss sensitive topics in your own space, with full encryption protecting every word.

  • Access from anywhere

Rural areas, busy cities, traveling — as long as you have a phone or laptop and a private space, you can access expert care.

  • Faster appointments

No in-person capacity limits mean shorter wait times. Most patients are seen within 48 hours of booking.

  • Better attendance

Studies show patients are 3x more likely to keep telehealth appointments — meaning more consistent care and better outcomes.

FAQ

Common questions

Can I get prescriptions through telehealth?

Yes. As a licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner, I can prescribe most psychiatric medications — including antidepressants, anti-anxiety medications, mood stabilizers, and sleep aids — electronically to any pharmacy in your area. Controlled substances follow state-specific regulations, which we’ll discuss at your first appointment.

What do I need for my first telehealth appointment?
Just a device with a camera and microphone (smartphone, tablet, or computer), a stable internet connection, and a private space where you feel comfortable speaking freely. We recommend testing your camera and microphone beforehand. Your secure session link will be sent via email before the appointment.
Is telehealth covered by my insurance?
Most major insurance plans now cover telehealth psychiatric services at the same rate as in-person visits, especially since federal coverage expansions. We accept most major insurers. During scheduling, we’ll verify your benefits before your first appointment so there are no surprises.
Is telehealth psychiatry as effective as in-person?
Yes — this is one of the most studied questions in modern psychiatry. Multiple large-scale studies and systematic reviews confirm that telehealth psychiatric care produces outcomes equivalent to in-person care for the vast majority of conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.
What if my internet cuts out during a session?
It happens occasionally, and we have a plan. If your video drops, we’ll switch to an audio-only call, and in most cases can continue the session without interruption. If the connection is too unstable, we’ll reschedule at no cost to you. Your time and care are never wasted.
